YuppTV Acquires IPL Cricket Digital Rights

YuppTV has acquired the IPL digital rights for Australia, Continental Europe, South East Asia, while BT Sport will show every game of the 2019 season starting from Saturday 23 March running to Sunday 5 May.

YuppTV has acquired the digital broadcasting rights for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 outside of India. With this development, cricket fans across the globe can catch all the action of Season 12 of the world’s biggest T20 tournament, right as it unfolds.

This is the first time that an OTT platform has acquired world-wide rights, outside India and the UK, where BT Sports will broadcast the competition.

BT offers viewers a new large screen app to live stream the bIPL in full HD 1080p without the need for a set-top box on Xbox, Samsung TVs and Apple TVs.

YuppTV is bringing the action to all of its existing and new users in Australia, Continental Europe, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and rest of world including South and Central America and Central and Southeast Asia.
