Through this campaign, R. Bharat aims to shake up the stagnant and satiated Hindi news channels and propel a movement that will actively bring about change and foster patriotism in every nook and corner of the country. “Born out of the insatiable energy and the wealth of experience, we will change the face of Hindi news television because of an undeterred and unwavering determination to investigate what is buried, to put the spotlight where all have ignored, and to use the medium of broadcast and television to fight for justice for every Indian,” the channel said in a press statement.
The hard-hitting campaign is aimed at establishing the channel as a movement to fight for real causes, real issues and real people. It is fight for and on behalf of every patriot and fight against the anti-national elements that disrupts the peace of the country. “Republic Bharat will bring back news on Hindi Channels. Our brand of journalism-putting the nation first has been accepted across the country and I am very excited about bringing this now and over 150 million more,” said Arnab Goswami, Editor in Chief and Managing Director of Republic Network. The soon to be launched Republic Bharat claimed that it will reach every Indian. Not only matching their competitors in the Hindi news market in terms of distribution and penetration, the channel plans to reach over 7000 towns across India with deep penetration both in rural and urban India.
