YouTube Music as the company claims is the one-stop for music. In India, YouTube Music will take on the likes of other music streaming apps like Gaana, JioSaava, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and others.

The standard version of YouTube Music comes for free but supports ads, while that’s not the case with YouTube Music Premium. Yes alongside the YouTube Music the company has also launched a Premium service which is ad-free, but the users will need to pay to use the service. Users can get the YouTube Premium will cost Rs 129 per month. YouTube Premium offers an ad-free experience and brings background and offline play feature across all of YouTube.

YouTube also brings good news for Google Play Music users. So, if you are a subscriber to Google Play Music, you get a YouTube Music Premium membership as part of your subscription every month. So, if you a user of Google Play Music “you’ll be able to access all of your purchased music, uploads and playlists in Google Play Music just like always.”
