Since the matter is subjudice and under judicial consideration and therefore prohibited from public discussion elsewhere. Since the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting is also being one of the Respondents along with others, it should restore itself from coming out with any such amendments before Hon’ble High Court come out with its judgement.

Since last few years Mobile TV platforms, OTT & IPTV service providers are blatantly violating all the programming guidelines and most of these platforms are showing non- permitted TV channels and adult pornographic content which are not allowed under the existing programming Code of Cable Networks Regulation Act 1995 and are destroying the social fabric of India.

ALOCA has requested to MIB that  some restrain and status be maintained till the final adjudication of writ petitions and applications pending adjudication in the Honorable Courts.
